  4. Educational Category: children and teens between the ages of 4 and 18 which are studying piano as a hobby, in the private system, not in music schools and high schools.
  5. Grand prize: A 2.700 Euros upright piano

The 12 to 14 years old group

– Beginners (up to 1 year of study)

– Advance ( more than 1 year of study)

The 15 to 18 years old group

– Beginners (up to 1 year of study)

– Advance (more than 1 year of study)

 

Piano competition for amateurs will take place in a single stage.

The repertory consists in two songs. It can be songs of the same composer or two songs of two different composers, it is not necessary to have the same style.  The maximum time allowed for the two songs together must be less than 6 minutes. The subs are not forbidden. The repertory has to be played by memory. The awarded ceremony will be at the end of each category.

 

General conditions

  • The repertory released in the registration form cannot be change
  • The candidates are asked to fit in the maximum time granted for each category. Otherwise, the jury will interrupt the interpretation of the candidate.
  • The contest entry will be done in the alphabetical order, for each category.
  • All trials are public, and the jury’s decisions cannot be disputed.
  • For each category will be given participation certificates, excellence diplomas, musicality certificates, and special prizes as well.
  • The deadline for the registration at the Musica Mundi National Piano Competition, organized by BOEM CLUB Pianos, is November 28th
  • The order in which the candidates will enter to the contest will be display on the site: http://boemclub.ro/boemclubpianos-2/
  • In case of absence, the participation fee is not returnable.

  • Standard registration form (with all the dates required)
  • Copy of the birth certificate
  • Proof of payment for the registration fee
  • The chosen repertory sheets.
  • Copy or Scan of the music sheets they will play in the competition
  • The candidates can register:

  • The registration is considered done just after we receive the email with all the necessary documents for the registration attached. After we receive your email, you will receive back a written confirmation

The registration fee:

For the participation to the Musica Mundi National Piano Contest, organized by Boem Club Pianos , the candidates have to pay the registration fee, which is 120 Lei.

The registration fee can be paid in the following ways:

-By bank transfer ( will be required to the contact person the account in which the payment have to be done, as well as the payments details).

The contest jury:

The contest jury will be formed by professional piano players from outside Romania.

  • Grand prize: A 5.000 Euros Perzina upright piano

The registration Fee : 120 Lei

  • Competition groups

The contest is structured in three sections A,B and C, subdivided into categories according to the class.

Section A

1st category: the first and second grade competitors

Repertory: two different songs, as style

2nd category: 3rd  and 4th  grade competitors – the maximum time is 8 minutes

Repertory: a study and the first part from a song or a sonata

Section B

1st category: 5th and 6th grade competitors- the maximum time is 10 minutes

Repertory:  a study and the first part from a song or a sonata

2nd category: the 7th and 8th grade competitors- the maximum time is 12 minutes

Repertory: a study and the first part from a song or a sonata.

Section C

1st category: the 9th and 10th grade competitors-the maximum time is 15 minutes

Repertory: a study (Chopin, Liszt) and  a chosen song (classic or romantic)

2nd category: –the 11th and 12th grade competitors –the maximum time is 15 minutes

Repertory: a study (Chopin, Liszt) and a chosen song (classic or romantic)
